Stock Gland Seals For Flat Cables

ITC is adding to its catalog of Cable Glands and accessories, a series of standard size, stock seals designed for some common types of flat cables (11.8×6.5mm, 13.8×6.0mm and 21.8×8.0mm). The new seals can replace the original one supplied with ITC’s plastic cable glands with threads M20L, M25, M32, Pg16L, Pg21, Pg29, ½”NPT(L), ¾”NPT, 1”NPT.

The new seals are made of thermoplastic elastomer (RoHS compliant), rated for maximum temperature of +90°C, and admit a tolerance of approx. +/- 10% of the dimensions of the flat cable. These seals fit in ITC’s plastic glands as indicated; they may not fit in metal glands or in other vendors’ glands.

Special size flat cable seals for any type of ITC’s glands can be produced upon request.
