Ventilation glands

Ventilation glands provide the advantages of cable glands and pressure balance elements combined in one product. This allows balancing pressure between the internal side of an enclosure and the external environment, and such compensation is obtained by means of a semi-permeable membrane which allows passage of air and humidity, while preventing entrance of dust and liquids. Properties of the membrane stay the same independent of the cable diameter and torque.
