Bench-mount Pneumatic Crimper for Electrical Terminals
This new tool introduced by ITC is the ideal, economical solution for the medium-size electrical shop or wire harness manufacturer, offering total flexibility, ease of operation, low cost and low air consumption. It can be placed on an ordinary bench, and is operated through an included pneumatic foot switch.
This unit can be fitted with 10 different standard crimping dies (plus available special dies for different types of terminals), which can be replaced in minutes by using a simple Allen key. Standard die sets are designed for the following electrical terminals:
- Insulated solderless terminals (PVC, Nylon or polycarbonate) 22-10 AWG
- Uninsulated solderless terminals 22-10 AWG
- Insulated "flag" disconnect solderless terminals 18-14 AWG
- Uninsulated "open-barrel" solderless terminals 27-10 AWG
- Closed-end solderless connectors 22-10 AWG
- Insulated or uninsulated ferrules 22-1 AWG (three die sets)
The crimper is lightweight (4 kg excl. footswitch) and operates with compressed air 60-140psi. It si supplied with a pneumatic footswitch and with the required tubing.
This crimper (ref. 500.921) is supplied without dies, with die mounting screws and one Allen key: this allows for maximum flexibility in the choice of tools. Each die set is available from stock.
All available die sets are interchangeable with ITC's new "Series 700" manual crimping tool.
