ITC presents the new ILME® economy multi-pole inserts type “JEI” which combine quality with a reduction in cost, compared to the standard inserts.
“JEI” inserts can be assembled in any ILME® multi-pole connector enclosure (base or hood) sizes 6, 10, 16, 24, 32 and 48 and mate with all other standard inserts of same size, including those from other manufacturers. Insulating material is a specially formulated, high impact UL-recognized technopolymer, flame retardant UL94V0, color: beige. Contacts in tin-plated copper, rated 16A at 600V. Ground terminal included (same as standard ILME® inserts). Rated and tested for 200 insertion/removal operations.
Available inserts (male or female) include the following models: 6poles, 10poles, 16 poles and 24 poles. Screw-connection terminals (inserts type JCNE) are equipped with wire protector, are rated 16A, 600V (CSA/UL), 0.5-2.5mm2 – 20-14AWG. Spring-connection terminals (inserts type JCSE) are rated 16A, 600V (CSA/UL), 0.14-2.5mm2 – 26-14AWG.
Similar to the standard series of ILME® inserts, double-size enclosures (32 poles and 48 poles) accept each 2 inserts (16+16 or 24+24). 16 pole inserts marked 17-32 and 24 poles inserts marked 25-48 can be ordered, to obtain the appropriate terminal identification.
