ITC is offering the new Ex9QR5 line of Soft Starters (Solid State Reduced Voltage Starters or SSRVs) from NOARK.
Soft starters offer ramping up the voltage applied to the windings of a three-phase motor during the start-up phase, in order to prevent the well-known detrimental electrical and mechanical effects which occur in case of a direct start (high in-rush current and starting torque, stress on mechanical components, etc...).
