VanGuard MFM – The DIN mounted ammeter with fuse holder

An easy way to measure the current, and at the same time add fuse protection inside a control cabinet, is the new VanGuard MFM.
The compact, DIN mounted module accepts a 'midget' (13/32”x1-1/2” or 10x38mm) fuse, or a 'CC' fuse. The fuse (not supplied) us under a protective cover secured by a screw, making the unit fully touch safe.
Fuses up to 25A can be used. The analog ammeter (scale 0-30A) is connected in series to the fuse via a transformer. Termination is via screw terminals for 26-10AWG wire.

Temporary and Permanent Cut-Out and Hole Plugs

Do you need to plug a hole in your panel, the cable passage in an installed cable gland, or one of the holes in a multi-hole seal of a gland? ITC has the solution.

DIN mounted GFCI dual outlet

The most recent addition to the DINLET line of DIN rail mounted power outlets is the new GFCI module.
Along with the convenience of providing a 120V, 15A power source inside a control, distribution panel, this model offers ground fault protection. The operator is now protected against accidental contact with a live wire in any equipment connected to the unit.
Rated 120V, 60Hz, 15A, the GFCI outlet comes with an “OUT” connector, allowing installation of an additional outlet, which will also be protected by the same unit. The outlet is equipped with TEST and RESET buttons, and a green LED indicates the outlet’s status.
32A Manual Motor Starters

Along with the popular family of 25A manual modular motor starters, ITC now offers the improved 32A models by NOARK.
The 32A Starters (Model Ex9S32) provide in a single, compact DIN rail mounted module, motor isolation, manual motor control, overload protection, branch-circuit short circuit protection as well as a number of convenient accessories for mounting, signalling, remote control, connecting, etc…
This new series has cULus certification (complies with UL60947-1, -4-1A, UL508, UL489) as well as CE-marking and RoHS compliance.

New Micro Switches

A wide range of small limit switches (“Micro Switches”) has been added to ITC’s offering of mechanical limit switches, now covering multiple applications for control, monitoring, protection, signalization, etc…
In particular, ITC is now carrying Tend’s TM-13XX, TM-17XX, TMD-17XX series (50mm body) as well as the TMV-XXX series (40 mm body). Options include a wide variety of actuators, including plunger, lever, long lever, lever with roller, etc… All these switches have an expected life of 20 million mechanical operations. Electrical ratings are 15, 16 or 21A depending on the models, at 250 or 125V(AC). The TMD-17XX models are DC switches. TM-17XX models are available with optional seal, that increases protection from ambient humidity from 85% to 95% RH. All models except TMD-17XX have UL recognition.
Canadian Croquet Champion

On the 2018 Canada Day long weekend, ITC sponsored consultant Phil Parsons in the US Rules Canadian Open Croquet Championships. Competitors came from across Ontario, the U.S. and Mexico for the 4 day event held in Toronto. He won the tournament earning his first title as Canadian Open Croquet Champion (picture - Croquet Canada President Ian MacGregor with Phil). Phil consults with ITC on our catalogs and promotional material. Congratulations Phil!

3- to 8-position 16A Selector Switches

ITC now offers a line of 16A, 600VAC selector (“Step”) cam switches with 3 to 8 positions, one pole per position (2-pole and 3-pole available upon request), manufactured in Germany by Sontheimer GmBH. These switches expand the range and ratings of the popular 2- and 3-position selectors – derived from the pushbutton family. Applications include control panels, safety and alarm test systems, small power centres, etc… Models with extra “0” position are also available.
Pushbutton Control Stations

Complementing their line of 22.5mm control devices (Pushbuttons, selectors, indicators, e-stops), ITC now offers standard pre-assembled pushbutton control stations for the most common applications. The advantage is a faster and more economical solution compared to the supply of separate enclosures and components.
The new products include one, two and three button stations in either die-cast aluminum with powder coating, or non-metallic enclosures. The assembled operators include pushbuttons, selectors and key switches, emergency (E-Stop) buttons. NO and NC contacts are mounted on those, depending on the types. Standard labels indicate each operator’s function. Naturally, custom stations are also always available.
High Temperature Terminals

ITC offers a range of high temperature non-insulated solderless (crimp) terminals for some of the most common types of terminations and wire sizes. Ring, spade and splice terminals, for wire ranges from 22 to 10 AWG, have a maximum temperature of 480ºC (~ 900˚F) and are made of nickel-plated steel.
Female and male disconnect terminals, for the same range of wires and for tabs 6.35x0.8mm (.25”x.032”) are made of nickel-plated steel with copper sleeves, and have a maximum temperature of 380ºC (~ 650˚F).
